Writer, Editor, Author, Midwife
I follow my passions, and by doing so have enjoyed a diverse career in writing, education, administration, midwifery, leadership, and project management. I've also learned to harness a team of horses, to identify most of the boreal forest medicinal plants, and to mix a mean martini.
I bring a unique, practical, relevant viewpoint to my work. I'm an award-winning writer who can find a story anywhere. I'm a reliable team-builder with experience in collaboration, development, and process improvement. I love to design learning materials, to teach, and support learning for small groups and wider organizations. I have a strong history with maternal child health, having worked as a licensed midwife for 20 years, combined with another 10 years as faculty adjunct for a national midwifery college.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I reside in Minnesota, where I have a small off-grid cabin in the far northern forest near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. I have three grown sons/men who travel the world and send home amazing stories and pictures. I love to snorkle the Caribbean, spend summers on the screen porch, and walk with my dog.
